When she stepped into the role of Middle School Pastor in 1999, there were a handful of students. On her way to work each week, she’d count the number of cars on a particular used car lot nearby and pray that just maybe there would be more students at church that day than cars on that lot. When she handed off the Student Ministry in 2023, they were often ministering to over 400 students each week. Most of her tenure was at the helm of the Youth and Kids Department. Together with her team, she had the honor of building three separate Student Centers to accommodate their ever growing youth ministry.

Her Masters Degree is in Management and Leadership. Based on her extensive experience in Youth Ministry and her education, Jayelle is available to consult with youth ministry programs around the country and is passionate about helping other youth pastors grow in their walks with God and their ministries.

Jayelle is the author of The Throne Room: How to Pray Powerful Prayers. This book is a filled with practical insights into prayer that will challenge every believer. Jayelle met her husband, LaVelle at Church. They married in 2008. Together they are raising their three teenage sons.
